HI guys,
well it has been an interesting last month or so. Since first coming here we have found that my anxiety is not an actual dx.. it is very rare, and mostly when I get stressed about something such as money is tight for daugters b-day and I still have a cake to buy...
Anyway dr feels that there is no need to medicate on a regular basis.. I went over 2 weeks without an axiety attack, and then on friday, it wasnt something full blown, but semi anxious of daughters b-day. So I need to figure out how to naturally calm my self.. with herbs teas or anything else you guys might know of... I am not sure what is calming and what is not.
Dr did give me klonopin if I need to take one.(havent used and would rather not.. ) She said to take on the night after I have a bad day to unwind, and make sure I sleep well.. because my anxiety gets up if I don't sleep... that is one of the biggest things that ups it and wondering what I am going to do for 8 hours a day while the kids and hubby are in school. Trying to get a job, (i know this would help me so much) job market is terrible here...
So if you could offer some thoughts or advise I would appreciate it.

Some info from our health folder @ the bottom of this page. Good luck!

Some of the better know herbs used for anxiety are valarium and kava kava though your health food shop will carry some very good mixes. You might also want to try Chamomile tea as it is a very calming tea or perhaps a tea made out of cat nip, though I recommend the chamomile, taste is better. You might also try aroma therapy using lavender or perhaps rose. You could use it in your bathwater or put some oil on a hanky and smell it. Some of these remedies are very useful and I've in the past used them myself. I'm sure others will tell you to also use yoga breathing and perhaps visualization. Good luck these have all worked for me in the past before my anxiety overtook me.
