I was at a concert last night and it re-affirmed something I have always suspected: sounds seem to trigger my anxiety. These sounds were instrumental OR vocal, and I can't describe the pitch or frequency but whatever it was made my skin crawl and made me extremely anxious...anyone else have this problem? I hid my head in my bf's shoulder at those points and it seemed to help!
Also, I was EXTREMELY worried about this concert...it was very important to my bf and I was worried driving downtown PLUS standing during the concert would trigger something, but no attacks happened, just a heightened state of anxiety/vigilence during the entire drive there, the concert itself, plus the drive home. I was almost always focused on my breathing and/or moving my body with the music to diffuse the anxiety. I am glad nothing happened and today I picked up the 'Panic to Power' book at the bookstore. I have an appointment with my doctor this Wed. to discuss what's been happening...
anyhow, just wanted to share a positive experience, thank you :)

Plus you had no idea if you would panic that is worriesome also
