I have honestly never timed mine, or thought about it......at the time that mine are happening......I just want them over.......
The last year I would have to say that I have pretty much been a constant basket case..I get aggitated very quickly with mine though... does that happen to anyone else??

Julie, It seems Walmart has that effect on alot of us. My last panic attack was at Walmart this weekend. It's such a big & overwhelming store, I think. I try to find comfort in the fact that so many people work there and they are so nice. I know someone would "rescue" me if I needed it, lol. I try to avoid big places like that. It seems like my attacks last forever, but in reality they don't. They go away when I get away from the triggering situation, mostly.

much better now! When I had them they were intense
and lasted about 10 minutes or so seemed like forever
but then the fear of having another kept me on edge for
the rest of the time! Then came the agoraphobia and I
was experiencing constant panic for hours at a time
passing out etc! Hospital trips were frequent-- no one
suggested I stay! I did not want to be alone at all-
I cling to my husband or children for support! Just knowing
they were there helped me then- it was horrible!!
This lasted about 3 months then I was given xanax and
after being told I had to stop taking them by a nurse
at a HMO she said the psych doc told her to tell me
that the HMO does not want drug addicts! I would have to
shape up within 2 weeks!! I dropped the HMO plan and
luckily my hubby worked with a child whose mother was a PA
she was wondering why he was absent so much lately so he
explained she said bring her in! With much urging I went
it took me 3 weeks to find the courage to try PAXIL!
After about 3 weeks I was feeling releif!
Now 15 years or so later I am still taking Paxil and xanax
seeing a hypnotherpist and trying to prevent attacks!
I have maybe 1 a month but generalized anxiety--
I have some big issues going on right now or should I say
still... I am feeling so much better since I am retired
one less anxiety issue!! I hope this helps a bit
I am sorry you are feeling bad and hope that soon you find
something that helps!! Take care and let us know how you are!
Hugs! Judy
