You're in my T&P's, Julie. Don't be too hard on yourself. These panic attacks make you feel as if you're stuck between a rock & a hard place. Nowhere to turn. It's that *stinkin' thinkin'* when you begin to wonder how you can leave your own offspring @ a Brownie meeting. I panicked once on my way to pick up Jas & friends @ cheerleading practice. I drove myself to the hospital(I thought I was dying from a heart attack)

Hubby went on his business trip and the pdoc called and upped my Prozac to 40 mg. I am hoping that calms my system down. I am asking the pdoc on Monday to take me off my other two meds before we lose our insurance. I am on Topamax for

When prozac first came out, I was on it for anxiety/panic. It worked pretty well. I recall you said somewhere that your pdoc felt you might have to go up to 60mg. I was worked up to 60 mg a day. I took a divided dose @ 8AM & 12Noon. It kept me awake @ night if I took it past 1PM. I hope you can get all the kinks worked out on your meds. This is always such a frustrating time, Julie. Please check in whenever you need to. We care & want you to feel better. (((hugs))) jan

Thanks Jan,

I am glad to know that Prozac does work on anxiety too. I am having a weepy kind of day. I hope it is because of being tired from getting up so early. I have only been on the 40 mg two days so I need to give it some time to get in my system anyway. But I think I am going to go get in the bed until Baybay comes home. I have done all my morning duties and now I just think I will give in to the urge to be comforted by the covers. I just have this unsafe feeling. It could possibly be because its been 24 hours since I have seen hubby. Good thing will be when hubby gets home I will have him for four days in a row! He will probably get on my nerves by then LOL. I hope the Prozac hurries and gets in my system! It feels like I am crashing and I hate that feeling.
