When did your anxiety start?

  • I think I've always had it .
  • In childhood, I was alway an anxious/worrying child .
  • During puberty(teens). Hormones changed me!
  • In my twenties .
  • In my thirties/forties.
  • With menopause(change of life.)
  • After a specific life event ie. having a child, getting married, a move.
  • After a tragic event ie. an accident, death of someone close etc.
  • I have no idea when/how it started!
  • Other. Please feel free to post your reply.

I know now that mine started as a child. I remember playing & the other girls would worry about stepping on the cracks. The old, *break your mother's back.* I, OTOH, was concerned with counting cracks. If I was interrupted, I had to start counting all over again. (((hugs))) jan

In utero!!! I mean it. I was almost 3 weeks late and I think it's because I was anxious about leaving a place of comfort and coming into a place where I didn't know, afraid of change!
