Received a pamphlet from my doctors office and thought I would share as it covers all 50 states.
America's pharmaceutical companies are working together with health care providers and comunity groups to get medicine to those who need it. If you don't have prescription coverage and can't afford your medicines, help is availiable. You could even get your medicines FREE or NEARLY FREE
Many people may qualify for assistance: working people, people without jobs. seniors and retired people, students, families, single people.
Here's what you do: 1) know the names of the medicines you take. 2) call toll free: 1-888-477-2669 3) a trained specialist will answer your questions and help you apply.
They also have a web site www.pparx.org (Partnership for prescription assistance)
I checked the web site out and most of the drugs that those of us on this board are covered. The cost of meds are increasing so those of us who may need some help paying for our meds may want to check out the site and/or call the toll free number.

Thanks for posting Keitha. I think I read this a while back, but never did anything with it. I'm going to forward it to my mom.
