Danielle, I know that feeling, where is it you live that the snows are already getting ready to come in? I can't drive in any weather but the snows make it harder for me to even be a passenger in a car. We're into our rainy season which is hard for me to handle our roads are awfully curvey and when our snows come you can't even begin to get out of some of these hollers. Let's hope those weather people are wrong for your sake and the sake of all of us that have problems driving.

I'm in Colorado Keitha. Snow & Ice on the road make it hard for me to be a passenger too. Sometimes I have to close my eye's, I just can't take it. I don't know how dh deals. Last year we'd had a big snow, the roads were snow packed and dh said they were ok though so I went out to get my nails done, it was the last chance I'd get before my inlaws arrived for x mas and let me tell you I had a p/a the whole way there driving, then while getting my nails done just thinking about driving home and then on the way home and it was only a 10 min drive. I was supposed to stop at Walmart but couldn't do it, I just needed to get home.

I'm with you on the rain too. It's not too bad for me during the day but at night it makes me miserable. I don't like driving at night at all but add bad weather and I'm a mess.

Thanks, I hope the weather people are wrong too. Dh is on 2nd shift which means night driving which of course worries me : (

Danielle

I hate it, too, but it must be done. Our snows can be brutal here in NW PA. I may be in Alabama with my gf next year. A permanent move for me, so I'm crossing my fingers that this is my LAST winter to drive. (((hugs))) jan

Oh I hear ya Jan. I have a dear friend who lives in PA plus I'm an east coast gal anyhow. I happened to be in MD in 2003 w/ the massive snow. That was a whole lot of fun, lol. My problem is that they do not take care of the roads here like they do back east. They use this chemical crap that they claim is supposed to keep the roads clear but it does nothing. I know salt is bad for your car but it works and I know sand is abnoxiously dirty but it works. They don't do any of those things here and that's my biggest issue. The base is double bad when it comes to taking care of the roads. If the roads were better cared for I'd feel better about driving. Oh & It takes them too darn

Thanks Judy & Sheri Ann

lol Sheri Ann, Actually we do have a children's theme park just 30 minutes from here called Santa's Workshop ~ North Pole, lol so I suppose not far from it.

We're just waiting for the storm to move it. It's coming, clearly making itself known as it comes over the mountain. Nice thing about living in the foothills, It can be seen quickly but then we tend to get hit the hardest
