The girls are slowly getting better

Since I missed chat last week I didn't get to tell you about my 1 month post op. He said overall that everything is as it should be. The spot on my areola that has some healing to do yet is working it's way there slowly. He was able to remove some of the scab which revealed healthy pink skin. I'm very excited and happy about that but am not putting all my eggs in one basket yet since some of it is still covered. It looks promising so please keep your fingers crossed.

Honestly I never expected that this was going to be as rough as it has been. My bowel obstruction recovery wasn't even this physically demanding. Emotionally this has been very rough on me as well.

Well I just wanted to update you all. I'm starting to really feel better. Physically I'd say about 80% now. I still have to be very cautious with certain movements and activities but I'm getting there.

BTW ~~~ I highlighted ALL Tuesdays this month in yellow highlighter and wrote in big letters CHAT, lol!!!! If I miss that then I need some serious glasses, lol. Since I don't trust my memory I figured this was the easiest way to go.

I hope you are all doing well. I'm trying to get back on the horse but it's a slow

OMG! I read the title of this post & thought what does she mean *the girls?* I thought she had a boy & a girl. Thx for the heart attack, Danielle.

Danielle, I thought you had two daughters that were sick, lol. And Jan, I laughed my butt off over the string on the finger - that's what I would do, too! Danielle, I'm glad you're "back on the horse" so to speak - I welcome you back with open arms & lots of hugs!
