Just dropping in to give an update. I check the board everyday and try and post.

Well, I have been feeling ok. I have a mild underlying anxiety, like I am waiting for a shoe to drop. But so far it is under control. This week has been very active and I am holding up under the pressure. Thursday is clinical again and my assignment looks horrific! Alot of procedures that I have not done yet, I will be very busy. Strangely I am not feeling too worked up about this.

The pressure I feel from school is my biggest trigger right now. I wonder if when I am done with school this anxiety will lesson or if I will wind up with something new. I have been an anxious person for a long time, just so much worse the past couple years.

I started exercising again this week, my plan is M-W-F do yoga or pilates DVD and add time on my treadmill on Tues and Saturday. Hoping some endorphins will kick in and cheer me up.

I hope to join chat Thursday, keeping my fingers crossed.

I can relate to waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have done that all my life. It's great news that you're working with the anxiety, Lisa. That's really the best approach. Don't allow it to get ahead of you. The exercise is an excellent way to burn off the excess. Good luck with clinical! Let us know how it goes. (((hugs))) jan

Hey Lisa,
So great to get an update from you. It sounds like you are doing really well. That is so wonderful to hear!
I really feel exercise helps my moods & anxiety, also.
I hope I catch up with you in chat one of these days.
