That is very interesting Heather. While I'll still be careful w/ my xanax useage it does make me feel better. I really do believe that so long as you don't abuse your meds it's very unlikely to become addicted. I took narcotic pain relievers for 2 years. I took them exactly as prescribed and had absolutely no problems getting off of them when the time finally came.
Thanks for the 411

As a journalism graduate, I am into finding the sources of info (and I always like a good link). Would you share with us the link where you got this scoop (and thanks for posting it)?
Thanks!

I am terrified of becoming addicted to Klonopin. My family has a history of drug/alcohol abuse and so I know that I am at a risk for becoming addicted. So I am just extra watchful with my meds. I only take them if prayer and taking it easy haven't eased the anxiety/panic in a few hours. My mom says I should take the Klonopin daily as it was first prescribed but I think that is a lot of medicine for an anxiety problem that is intermittent at best. She just hates it for me when I get so nervous and upset. But thank-you for this information.
Sincerely,
Julie
