Hello everyone I am fairly new have posted a few times. I can't remember if I posted last week, but I had see a gastroenterologist a few weeks ago and he discovered I have no reflexes in my feet and my other reflexes are hyper-reflexive. Well my primary care took the advice of the gastro dr. and ordered an MRI with contrast. I wanted to let you all know that my MRI came back normal. Now I am at square one again.
My primary care thinks panic disorder, gastro enterologist says absolutely not it's neurological and now my chiropractor thinks it could be hormonal.
From the posts that I've read those in the beginning before being giving the diagnosis of panic/anxiety disorder have been right where I am at. I am so confused, do I have a panic disorder, do I have a neurological problem even though the MRI came back Neg. is it hormonal. I have less answers now than I did 2 months ago.
People wonder why I feel anxious. I am actually doing 100% better since Sept. but I think I have gotten use to having the symptoms every day where it doesn't lead to panic.
I am not sure where to go next. Whether to go back on the celexa (gastro dr. said absolutely not), just take the xanax as needed like I am or what.
I will keep you guys posted,0 I have to say your posts are a great comfort. Even if it turns out I don't have a panic disorder it's something mimicking it or if I infact do have the disorder I know I am not going crazy and alone when it comes to my symptoms.
Thank you,
Karyn
