I'm sorry to hear that you're scared & worried, Heather. I know it's hard, but you did very well when dh left for a week a couple months back. You've made great strides since then. You will do fine. The anxious moments will pass quickly when you breathe & think positive thoughts.
It's great news about the laptop. You're spoiled, gf:)
Now, about the vomiting. If this is just temporary anxiety, then it should pass quickly. If not, then see the dr. Coming out of the blue like that, IMHO it needs checked out. Good luck & GBU! (((hugs))) jan
Heather,
My hubby had to go on numerous bt's with this job and having him gone always made me more nervous too. I live in a safe neighborhood so I wasn't scared of that but I was always feeling like I couldn't handle the job of being the only Parent. I am 39 but sometimes I sure don't feel it and t was scary being the only grownup! Plus if I had a panic attack I couldn't take the meds because it made me sleep and I was afraid I would be asleep when Baybay needed me.
Just know that we will be here to support you and I will be praying for you this week!
Sincerely,
Julie

Yavonne,
Dh being away has a lot to do with my anxiety.
I had my 1st nighttime panic attack the night before a trip. I was dx'd and put on meds while he was away, then when he got back I had a real breakdown, so I associate him going away with bad things. Also, I just miss him... I don't like it when my routine is broken and this definately does it.
Heather your message scared me when I read the title. I thought omg...dh is leaving. I have abandonment issues and instantly made the wrong conclusion...LOL. whew...
(((hugs)))
Ok now that I know this is a business trip I can start to relax. I hope you get a tiny laugh over this and feel better soon.
Lisa
OMG Lisa I am sorry to do that to you. i thought it was common knowledge that he was going on a trip, but then again I haven't spent much time in chat lately.
Sorry to scare you...... !!!!!! :P
Hi Heather,
I know what you are going through because my husband used to travel atleast 2 nights out of every week. After a while, I enjoyed the peace and quiet. I got stuff done around my house, painted my toes and took long baths. Trust me, it's not fun having your husband gone all the time, but it is nice to have some time to yourself. Maybe you can get a sitter and get together with some girlfriends? It's terrific that he bought you the lap top. It sounds like you have a wonderful man, and he loves you very much. Hang in there, time goes by really fast and he'll be home before you know it.
Love, JD
When my DH is away I always have my DDs sleep in the bed with me. Thank god we have a kind size. Those kids are figgety (sp?). It always makes me feel better. You are very strong and will get through this better than you think. Don't let the thoughts take over. KWIM?
Hugs
Alison
Edited to say: I'm very jealous about your laptop. I can't chat or post from home because it takes an hour to post one message (old computer).
