I have been doing much better and rarely have anxiety issues anymore. If I do they are minor. Well, we went to the mall and Aaliyah got candy from the stores. Once we got back to the middle of the mall there we people everywhere. It was crazy. I'm glad that we were pretty much done because I could not take it. I am worried that in the future when my kids want to go to events with big crowds that I won't be able to take it.

This is a tough one, Yavonne. You're already worrying about what might happen. If you're anything like me, you may become obssessed with this worry. It is possible to desensitize yourself to large crowds. Expose yourself to them regularly. Make a plan as to how long you will stay if you become uncomfortable & how much anxiety you will allow yourself before leaving. Always you can try the positive thinking, belly breathing, etc. as you face the situation. I don't like crowds either. I always walk along the outskirts & make an escape plan. I focus on watching faces in the crowd, dealing with the present(no what iffing) & try to keep the noise & movement in the background. I have found that my anticipatory fear is much greater than what I really have to face. I end up having a good time in spite of my fear. HTH Good luck! (((hugs))) jan
