Hey, even though i haven't had a panic attack in a while I still have phobias about getting sick and dying. So my therapist suggested trying what he calls "adaptive worry time". Basically it means setting aside 30 minutes a day to worry about my symptoms, instead of letting them consume my thoughts 18 hours of the day. I have to say it's been working really really well! I have this fear that if I dont worry about something it will happen, and the adaptive worry time technique is a great way of getting rid of this maladpative way of thinking. I even had a panic attack this morning and was able to talk my self out of it, thanks to these new techniques he's teaching me. Anyway, I just thought I would share. I know not everybody has the same anxieties as I do, for those who do, this is a really helpful thing to try.
hope everyone is doing well! <3
