fibromyalgia - suggestion

I have suffered from chronic back pain for over 13 years. I have seen chiropractors and been given percocet which just covers the pain. My DH suggested I go to an accupuncturist, which I finally did and have not had any back pain since. I saw her yesterday and noticed that she also treats fribromyalgia. I think this is the board where I have noticed that some of the posters suffer with fibro. If it is an option, I would say try it. It has worked wonders for my back.

Just a suggestion.

I have not visited the Fibro board but maybe I should share the info there. I was very skeptical about accupunture in the first place. I went for my back, depression and anxiety. The only thing it worked on is my back. But to those in physical pain, I think it's an option to try. I'll visit the other board when I get a chance. Thanks.

I think many of us are skeptical about things we don't understand. But, accupuncture is becoming more mainstream. Others have reported success with it. That's good news for us, Alison. (((hugs))) jan
