Hi, Kimberly! Is it your med or just the anxiety? It's a good idea to mention it to the dr. either way. For most women with anxiety, increased nervousness, irritability & anxiety symptoms are related to our cycles. I feel that way about a week before my period starts. Keeping my mind & body occupied works the best, so the feeling doesn't overtake me & make my symptoms worse. It could be something totally different. Maybe a little low blood sugar or thyroid problem. Both are easily corrected. That's why telling the dr. is the best way to go, IMHO. Good luck & keep in touch. How do you feel with the new med? Has anything changed with your issues in signing for things? (((hugs))) jan

i don't know if it is the med or just anxiety. i have been on this med for only a month. its the first one prescribed since discussing my anxiety with the dr. besides this recent jittery feeling, i have felt fine since being on this. i have signed for a few things with no problem. and the day i felt jittery, we went to target, where i used my credit card and didn't have a problem signing - to my surprise, considering how i was feeling.

i didn't know there can be a connection to my cycle. i didn't feel that way last month. but i will be getting my period nov 22 (i'm on BCP as well), so maybe that's why i was feeling that way? and as far as thyroid, blood sugar level etc, all those tests came back normal.

but i will mention this to the dr.

thanks!

Hi Kimberly,

I have had the jittery feeling and I know that it is hard to deal with. When I get my period I always seem to feel worse.

My best advice is to see your Dr and discuss the possible reasons for this...

hi heather,

i will speak to the dr about this. but i wanted to ask if you still get the jittery feeling? how did you/do deal with it? is there something else the dr can prescribe to help with it? or do you just have to learn how to deal with it?

i'm trying to think of what the possible cause of this could be. it was a typical weekend for me, so i don't know....

thanks!

Hi Kimberly,

I had the jittery feeling for about 2 months straight. Every morning when I woke up I was jittery right away...

My therapist told me to try counting... it REALLY works. She said that when I wake
