me and my thoughts again......

I know I have posted before about obsessive thoughts. I can't make them go away!!! I am going nuts! I am having a tuff time thought stopping and trying to focus on other things, other than the thoughts (I am a little embarressed to mention what the thoughts are.....but they are mainly still about past regrets). I write out my thoughts and make pro's and con's list.
Sometimes (for a short moment here and there) I feel like "how could I have let that bother me in the first place? I have nothing to worry about!" and then it changes to a feeling of never ending fear. I got replys back last time of a few people who knew how I felt, but does it happen to anyone where it changes from one end of the scale to the next??
I feel like I am going crazy! Thanks for listening again

I have said and thought that more times then I can count.... that is VERY common with anxiety.

My tdoc suggested that when the bad thoughts start to creep to in visualize a stop sign... really... it works. My tdoc also suggested doing cross word puzzles or something like that when I am feeling anxious. Anything to distract me.

I know that it is VERY hard to put the bad feelings aside but it can be done, you just have to keep telling yourself that your ok, your going to be ok....

You're NOT going nuts, Nina. When we can't control things & feel scared, that's a common concern. You're doing the right things. Writing down pros & cons is good. Sometimes it does seem silly what we obssess about. However, don't fall into the trap that I used to. I would get mad & berate myself for having such
