Trip update

I arrived back home Saturday morning at 3:25 am. My trip to my folks ran me through a range of emotions and stresses. I enjoyed myself don't get me wrong. I arrived about an hour and a half late at my folks home it was 7:30 am Tuesday morning that I got there. That and the bus ride was stress number 1. My mother isn't doing anywhere near her best and this was very sadful and stressful for me stress number 2. Thank heavens my father warned me before we arrived at the house. The whole time I was gone I kept feeling happiness and sadness (not at seperate times but at the same time)stress number 3. Very strange feeling has anyone else felt this before. I'm glad I went to my familys but I'm so happy to be home where I belong. I missed Mel and all my babies so very much, stress number 4.

I think I know what you mean Keitha. I kinda get bittersweet about things sometimes too.
I am so glad you got to visit your folks, sorry to hear your mom is not doing so good.
I will be saying prayers for her. I am happy you are home with Mel and your babies where you belong. How was Mel's Thanksgiving away?

We're so glad to have you back safe & sound, Keitha. One of the reasons holidays/gatherings are so stressful to us are the highs & lows they entail. I can surely relate to what you feel as your mom loses a bit of ground. My mom isn't her best either.
