Hi everyone!! I just thought I'd check back in and update.
I've been doing well lately. I try to face my fears everyday. I got started with my new pdoc and tdoc and I really like them. Some of you may recall that I had to find a new dr. when I found out on short notice that my dr. was closing his practice and going to work for the county. I was in the middle of a med change, so it was rather important that I get estblished with someone. I've gotten myself totally swithced over to zoloft and I'm at 75mg right now and it seems to really be helping. I haven't had to take my ativan in over a week now. Woohoo!!!
Noah is doing great!! He's a very assertive/defiant 4 now. He's getting ready for Santa and getting really excited.
I got laid off from my part time job over a month ago, so I'm back to being a SAHM again. Work wanted me to pretty much go full time, and I just didn't feel comfortable doing that. I was happy with my 3 days a week. They said because they were cutting hours and I wouldn't open up my availability that they had to let me go. I wasn't surprised, so that was good. I wasn't really all that upset, but boy I sure do miss that extra money.
Hopefully now that I have more time, I'll be around the board more.
Take care!! Have a great day!!!
Chrystal

You are such an inspiration! <3
Sorry to hear about your job, but sounds like your little one will keep you busy!
4 is such a fun age! :0)
I am on Zoloft too, and also ativan. I hope to get to where you are, and not need the ativan.
Thanx so much for posting, We missed you!
Hope to hear from you soon!
hugs! shasta
Chrystal,
Glad to hear that you are doing well. I also have a great t and pdoc, it helps.
I am sorry about your job and loosing the money, I was waiteessing and quit when my anxiety started, it wasn't really about my anxiety but more about going through a lot and my kiddos needing me. It was hard to get used to not having the money.. that was my "guilt free" spending money.
You are doing so great facing your fears. It is trying at times with a 4 yr old ( I know I have 2) but they are just so precious at this age. I love the hugs and unsolicted "I Love You Momma".
Take Care and keep doing so well.. it is so great to hear.
Thank you all for your responses!! I know I can always come here and jump right in. That's a good feeling. Even if you don't see me post every day, know that I'm am right here with you all. I check-in and read several times a day.
I would like to find something else part-time, but I'm not in a hurry. Something will come up when it's the right time. Having this extra time has be nice lately. My house doesn't look quite so much like a disaster area, and I've been able to put Noah in gymnastics. He is sooooooo cute!!! He's been rolling and jumping all over the place for months, so I put him is a class at the rec center right down from my neighborhood. Heather, do your boys watch Lazy Town on Nickelodeon??? That is Noah's FAVORITE show and Sportacus is his hero.
I've very glad to be back, and hope to stick around for a while.
Have a great day!! Chrystal
