Sorry to hear this, Kimberly): I think it was more than likely just a bit of anxiety. Being a half hour off on the atenolol shouldn't make much difference. It takes me about 12 hours to figure out I forgot my last one:) You were uncomfortable. Felt a little out of place because you didn't know anyone. The classes are part of the wedding process & that has been a trigger for you. Try to see this for what it was. Nothing more, nothing less. You made it through. Nothing bad happened. You are fine.

Take what you experienced & make it a positive. You will be totally prepared for the next classes. You have met some folks, so you won't see everyone as total strangers. You know what to expect. I am so happy for you & Tim. I want you to be happy too. Good luck & GBU! (((hugs))) jan

Great advice Jan!
You did it despite the anxiety which a great accomplishment. Sometimes we just need to be a little uncomfortable and sit through it to realize it wasn't all that bad. I'm sure each time you go things will get easier!

Hi Kimberly,

It does sound like the anxiety bug bit..

You made it through and you should concentrate on that more then anything.... that probably means that the meds are working for you...

thanks for the replies.

i just wanted to post and get that out. some times, i'm confused/surprised when my anxiety shows up. it mainly happened when i signed for things, but then started to show up in some other situations. i have told my dr about that, and that's why he increased my dosage. he believes this med is working, and i did too, but we haven't found my dosage

Sometimes when I am in a situation I'm not used to being in, the same thing will happen. Not too long ago I went to a soccer banquet for my 4 y.o. at Pizza Hut. Everyone was socializing, very relaxed, and all of a sudden I felt the same exact way you just described. I told dh, and took some deep breathes, put off eating & it passed in about 5 minutes. I think it was just from being around people I didn't know very well.
