I have been diagnosed with panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, and I am sure depression is in there, as well! But I do feel better knowing I have a great pdoc, and I am getting meds that seem to be helping. And this board is a main help in my process of getting back a normal life. Thanx so much gals!
Wishing you all much success in your quest for peace & calmness. GBU all!
love, shasta

I have had GAD and depression since my early twenties (probably before, just dx'd then). Appearantly a chemical imbalance that will not be leaving unfortunately. I am currently working to get on the right combination of meds and think pdoc and I are heading in the right direction. It is great to come here in addition to talking to the doc to see how people in real life are feeling and coping.

Hugs.

I have panic disorder with agoraphobia, but I am close to having the agoraphobia beat! I have some OCD, too. When I look back, I was a very anxious child. I wonder if it had been recognized, what my diagnosis would have been. (((hugs))) jan

The first 2 are the primary which I think push me into some of the other area's.

My dx as of almost a yr ago is BP1, BPD, GAD, PTSD, very mild OCD

Hugs & Positive Thoughts Always,

Its like OCD induced Panic disorder without agoraphobia. Fortunately I am finally dealing much better with this issue and am slowly on the road to a much more normal state of being. Its taken nearly a year and a half to get to where I am now from when the panic attacks started.

Mine is OCD, GAD, panic disorder, depression. Pretty much in that order. Just like Jan said I was a really anxious child and the OCD started rearing its ugly head in high school. I think I have always had GAD I don't know what its like to not be anxious, something I am working very hard at with therapy now. I think the depression is mostly induced by the OCD and Anxiety with panic attacks. Luckly I have been blessed with a wonderful ds and hubby that keeps me grounded. I am so glad there are places like this board for people who are suffering with these disorders.
