I was at the grocery store this evening and it was crowded, lots of people on the isle and some bumping into me. I felt so hotflash and very impatient. I even screamed at my DH because he could not find something quick enough on the shelf where all the people were. I wish not to be like this and then afterwards (like now) feel so foolish. I guess this was a little anxiety for me?

Yes, it does sound like you had some anxiety at the store today.

You understood so well! Thank you! Yes, claustrophobic was added to the mix too while at the grocery store and yes the isle was the baking isle lol! Thank you for your tips, etc.
Jane now you're talking about one of my own personal anxieties. Large stores and crowds. I also have alot of trouble with lighting in certain stores. I've been known to leave carts filled with things as I rush to the outside as I'm totally unable to breathe. Talk about embarrasing. Like Sheri Ann I tend to shop when there is likely to be less people. I also have my list and have it mapped out so I only spend minimial time in the store.

I see that Sheri Ann & Keitha offered you some reassurance in knowing exactly how you feel. I don't care for crowds & try to stay on the outskirts. My biggest trouble is feeling trapped when waiting in long lines.
Jan posted some great insight.
