go away and never be heard from again. I wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays, no matter which holiday you and your family celebrate. This is a time of the year to be grateful for whatever good things you have in your life, to express your gratitude for your joys and enjoy the fellowship of your family, friends and yourself and perhaps do a good deed or two. As some of you may know I've had a new, huge challenge placed in my life and this Holiday Season will be very difficult. Losing one's dh is a stressor that is right over the top on the stress scale. I've been working hard at keep a balance of what I will do and what I chose not to do with regard to this season. In short, taking care of myself. I hope that each of you is doing the same; making time for yourself, the time that is necessary to renew your spirit and your stamina. I've learned a few things about me and my anxiety over the last two months and after the new year I'll talk about them. I'll leave you all with a story about emotional pain. A friend of mine stopped by the house two weeks ago and gave me a cactus plant. She wanted me to keep it in the kitchen window. Her parting words, leaving me standing on my porch with this plant, tears in my eyes, were "never forget that between the thorns is beauty".
Many Blessings to each and every one of you!!
Suz
