My husband is starting a new position this month. He will be gone 2 nights one week and 3 the next. It will be more money, but it will be an adjustment for me. I am used to him being here every night. I need to look into security systems. I know I will feel safer then. My pregnancy symptoms are starting to wear me down. The main problem is nausea, upset stomach, heartburn. I have a history of stomach problems anyway, so pregnancy just makes it worse. I go for my first appointment next week. Hope everyone had a great New Years!

(((Yavonne))) Staying alone @ night is a trigger for some of us. I think a security system is a good idea. Also, do you have good neighbors that you can rely on? I always let the young couple next door know when I will be alone. She does the same when her dh works as a bouncer on some weekends. Just knowing that someone else knows I'm alone, helps.

I hope your stomach problems resolve. Is there something safe you can take? I loaded up on Tums & ended up with a kidney stone with my second dd. I advise getting the doctor's ok before trying OTC meds. Hope you feel better soon. Happy New Year! (((hugs))) jan

Being home alone at night is a trigger for me in the beginning, until I adjust.
