Ok...first I have been seeing a cognative councilor to help with my thinking patterns that cause the anxiety. But these anxiety seem to only be getting worse, and when they get really bad I stop thinking...which doesn't help in using what i have learned. So i finally called her last night, and should be hearing from her in the next day or two. I also have my Social Security evaluation. See I was once miss diagnosed BP, and have found that besides the anxiety I am doing fine. So the eval. is to see if I shoudl still be on SS...so ok my only source of income is making this extremely stressful and hence anxiety attacks up the roof. Last night i woke up not breathing and heart pounding so hard, and I threw up. :( So I have decided to back off the soda since it was the first time I had drinken any in a couple of weeks. But looking forward to the eval., because it would be nice to have a Dr. input. (not just a councilor's) He could also help me with figuring out what medication if any is needed, and help me figure where to go and what to do to get help. :)

Ok that is enough for today...by the way I am here and posting now. You guys are grat bunch of girls giving support to each other and I am glad I found you.

No I haven't been taking medication for now a year and four months. (I strongly advice no one to do what i did without talking to a Dr.) Those that i have talked ot think it might have been a mixture of things that caused me to seem bipolar. I had just given birth which seemed to cause post partum, and then put on a medication that seemed to cause a manic episode. The school of thought was that if this happened then they must be bipolar, because they are the only ones who have this reaction. They are finding though that some medication can cause this. For four years, they tried to stable me with no help. So interesting yea. The only issues i have now is the anxiety (and I didn't know how bad it could get) which we are believed cause from all my fear that were created from being labeled BiPolar.
(I again say this isn't for everyone!!!)
But yea I will let you all know what is going on when i find more info...you guys will be my sounding board as I go through this new thing in life.

This must be a tough time for you, Celeste. I hope that the evaluation goes well & you get the answers you seek. You're very optimistic & that is never a bad thing! In the event that you need some extra support, the folks @ Workmen's Comp & the SSDI board can lend you a hand. Here's the link: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-bhssdi
