Hi all...

I am just hanging out and relaxing on my school break. Getting dressed only occurs when I have to leave the house...lol. I am just feeling tired all the time and addicted to the sofa, watching TV, and doing Sudoku. I really wanted to tackle some household projects on my break but cannot seem to get motivated. Hoping that I can get something done this last week off!

My anxiety is lingering beneath the surface, I can feel it trying to get out. With school coming so soon it is bound to jump out at me soon. The person who normally drove me to school dropped out so I am on my own. I worry about driving in the winter weather, if it ever comes back. I pray it does not hit when I will be on the long 40 minute drive to school.

*hugs* Lisa, sometimes it's the best thing you can do for yourself to just lounge around and enjoy your vacation.

Lisa,
I know the feeling being addicted to the sofa and school starting this next week for me also,I drive 20 minutes away But now they have a detour,go figure!!! so it is going to take me 40 or so mintues to get to college also, espically if I try to go the old way and forget about the detour and have to turn around, which I have done several times so far,LOL who knows.. I am so ready to go back to school though and, I know that is why I have been seeing alot old soaps probly too many, I have desided though I am going to keep busy driving though because going to school to me is a matter of my life line not just for my indepenace, but I have to for others,I feel I will make a good nurse and too many miracles have come my way, so what is the saying " use it or lose it" I was sooooo scarey to go to school re- regester for another semeter, just thinking about it was oh!!! well you know, but I talk to my self alot and said ,self ok you are almost threw with the hard stuff and you want to quit now??? and started looking at if I didn't go back to school and so on, I didn't like the answers to most of my question, so I really just ran and didn't even think about what I was doing and was praying the whole time ... and you know I was at school before I knew it and in the building and got it done, I only know God was right there with me and the words from this great group, "You can Do it..." Now I go atlest once a day that way to pepare me for college starting and have gotten my tape recorder and taped some things to remind me why I am going to do this and I can do this and it seems silly, but so far so good, Sorry this so long, but as you know 1 step at a time or run like I did, just don't trip like I did I am so clutcey,it runs in the family. LOL

In my prayers always

Lynn,

Sounds like we have a lot in common. Going back to school was the right thing for me to do as well and it will not only help me and my family but countless other people to whom I will care for. I only have this last semester to go and I will be out in the real world working my tail off to pay back student loans!!!

I can remember signing up for my first class 3 1/2 years ago and it took every ounce of "guts" that I could muster up. Without anyone cheering me on it was hard to hang in there sometimes.

I noticed in your profile you are a Grey's Anatomy fan!!! Me tooooo! I am totally addicted. When I am in school I reserve that one hour a week to curl up and entirely devote myself to watching it! When I feel guilty I just tell myself it is a learning experience (med drama)LOL.

Good luck with school,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,
yes, I myself can't remember the first time I sign up,it seems like for ever, it was not to bad, my son had not joined the army yet, so it wasn't too bad,it still was alittle scarey since I Wasn't sure If I had the brains to do good like I need to finish, Sometimes I still wonder. LOL I have 3 semeters left and so far I haven't had to get any students loans yet, knock on wood.

Yes!!! Grey's Anatomy is great and I too am addicted to it and hey it gives me a boast, if they can do it then we can do it, right!!! It is good though. I am a faithful watcher. Are you doing your clinicals or more classes?
