Oh geez, this just happened to a friend of mine with her twin girls.

So, I spoke to the principal and she listened to what I had to say and she agreed to keep them together in the same classroom, she said that I had valid points. So we set up a time next week so I could go and see the school and such.. WELL as we were hanging
Are you worried about full day because of the health issues? I agree - this is kind of the wave of the future. In my town the kindegarten extends to 1:30pm. And honestly, I was like - wow...what a break for me that will be in a few years!!!
Where your boys have been home, I can identify with the fact that it is scary to send them off. Hopefully all their health issues will be resolved by then and you can sit back and relax - and enjoy the time to yourself. Kids are SO adaptable...so no matter what you do, they will be fine fine fine.
My three year old started preschool two days a week this past fall...he is only there 2 hours each day. The first week I was like crying, what am I doing just leaving him there??!!! He had never been in daycare or anything before. He was upset the first two weeks as well, crying when I dropped him off. Now...he asks to go every day and when I drop him off he is sprinting out of the car!! It has been so good for him, I can't believe all he has learned and the social skills he is developing. And, I must admit - the break two times a week has been great! I go to the gym, I go get some coffee, etc etc...I actually have ME time. Woo Hoo!!!
Try not to worry to much now and get freaked out right away. I know with the anxiety, i tend to catastrophise (sp?) and think of doom and gloom for the future. Probably best to sit with it a bit and think about what the best options are...think it over some and chat with other moms. I always find that helpful.
Well, now you have me worried, too :(

My DD had been at home with my mom since I returned to work when she was a baby. She started full-day Kindergarten in August (9am - 3:30pm) and is doing wonderfully. She loves school and even asks if she can go on the weekends. If you do end up having to do the full day it may not be as bad as you think. Either way, don't worry, kids are very resilient.

Have you considered home schooling for the boys?

Judy,
Yes I have thought about it but I plan on going to school for teaching. I feel as though I need to have an education and be able to support us in case something ever happens to where it is just the Boys as I....Teaching will be a great way for me to still be there for them during the summer and vacations... and I will also be making some money.
I would
