During a late night panic attack I was cruising the boards looking for help. After lurking a bit I bravely posted my woes, then people actually responded!! Glad I showed up here :-)

My anxiety had been really bad, and I needed to find somewhere where people understood what I was going through. Somewhere where no one would judge me. I village seemed to have everything I needed.

Before we close this poll, I thought we might have some stragglers who will still vote. I wanted to share my story, as well. I was looking for up-to-date pregnancy info for my aunt, who's dil was pregnant for the first time. In the list of health boards, I found this one.

I lurked for some time, as most of us do. I was impressed by the concern of the community. But what really made me want to return, was the fact that I was not alone. I had panic attacks for 30 years, but had only talked on a personal level to one other woman. Here were alot of women I could talk with & relate to. It's been my salvation. I have a much clearer picture of what so many of us deal with. I have dabbled in the alternative methods of dealing with anxiety/panic & see that whatever method we choose, if it helps us, it's ok. Even, Angie & her tic-tacs:) I have met some of the nicest, strongest ppl on earth. I have forged some friendships that will last forever.

I continue to feel that visiting this board daily, is like free therapy sessions for me:) Even if I wasn't a cl. I hope your visits here are as positive as mine. (((hugs))) jan
