Change in the surgery...

I took Ryan in to see how he was healing and the Dr said that the 1st side is pretty much healed.. so then i went across the hall to see the women who schedules surgery.. to confirm Justin and schedule Ryan.. well she NEVER actually put Justin in on the 18th so she was looking at when she could get him in... just then the Dr came in and said that he would be willing to do them both back to back...... it was either that or 2 days apart.

I told him that my concern was that Ryan bled last time and he said that is very rare and that it doesn't happen often. So I am taking his word for it and getting them done the same day...

The problem is that it is a Friday so if we have a problem then the office won't be open, BUT he said that he will meet us at the ER if we need. Also, Jay is leaving that Sunday for CA.... but I told him that he is no help anyway (NOT trying to be mean) but I haveI

Heather I think you've made the right choice here I know it's the one I would have made. Might even be best for the boys since they are so close to one another. I'm getting good feelings about this also. Just hang in there you're doing great and I admire you and the courage you are displaying. You are a wonderful caring mother.

Considering everything that has happened and is happening I think you have a great attitude. Taking this in stride is the best thing for all of you. I'm not diminishing your worries or fears because they are real and you are entitled to them but I still think you're handling this great. We all know the dangers and risks of surgery, we need to be informed and with that information we simply pray for the best and not think of the worst. I've been down that road in the last 3 years more times than I care to admit but I'm here and physically I'm doing well. Wasting your time and energy on the bad isn't going to do any good. Believe me I've been there where I was afraid of repeat complications and all it does it cause more stres. With all of the prayers and positive thoughts surrounding you & your family you're going to be ok. Keep those positive thoughts going Heather.

Hugs
Danielle
