I just wanted to thank you guys for helping me calm down yesterday. It was such a relief to talk to other people having the exact same problems I was having, who could tell me that something awful really wasn't about to happen and that it would pass.

I picked up the Anxiety and Phobias Handbook last night. Hopefully there's some stuff in there I can use to help next time this happens. I've also decided to drop one of my courses for this semester (I'm enrolled in five) so I can get a handle on this.

Thank you everyone! I hope you all have a good day!

Thanks! I'll be back in, though I may be sporadic when school kicks in.

Small disappointment today. DH has a colleague who needed a volunteer for an MRI demo, so I thought I was going to get a cardiac scan I could use to help calm down when my heart goes nuts. But, we got backed up and couldn't do it. Oh well, he said he'd try to arrange it again next time I'm in town.

I know I don't NEED it--I've never had anything happen from exercise or anything, and nobody's ever heard anything irregular or seen anything odd on a EKG. Would be nice to have, though.

Back on the bus in an hour and a half....!

Amy

PS - Heather--I see your boys are named Justin and Ryan. Funny coincidence, so are my sister-in-law's kids! (not twins, though)

Amy GOOD IDEA!!! Sometimes we try to do too much and
our bodies react with a BIG NO!!! Hope this helps you!!
We all need time to relax and take care of ourselves
it helps chase the panic away!! Take care! Judy
