Seeking Mental Health Care
If stress, interpersonal, or job-related tension is interfering with your daily life, you may want to seek mental health care. When you seek mental health treatment, you may see a variety of health care professionals. Depending on your health insurance, a case manager may, in conjunction with your health care provider, assess your health needs, refer you to a specialist, and coordinate the services that you will receive, and/or follow up on your treatment. In some cases, you may only speak with the case manager over the phone; in others, the case manager may be a qualified practitioner that you will actually visit.

Well I'm not sure where Jane falls into that list, She is a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Practioner. What I initally thought was nice is that she is licensed to write rx which apparently is a new thing in CO. There are up's and down's. I love Nurse Practioners, they have saved my bacon, been an advocate for me, stay with me long enough to be effective, are more assessible than doctors and know their stuff.
