I know we discussed this a little not too long ago, but I'm wondering how many people get hives along with their anxiety??

No hives here with anxiety. But, I'll keep my fingers crossed. With my luck I'll start getting them after reading this thread. LOL I do get them from extreme cold. When the temp dips below zero, I have to cover up good.

I would suggest caladryl lotion. It's a combo of calamine & benadryl. No chance of getting sleepy when used on the outside of ya! Also, if ya need them, I'll be glad to send the dog's fortified with Omega 3's Brewer's yeast tablets. They make for a lovely coat, reduced shedding & repel fleas. ROFLMBO I hope you get some relief, Sheri Ann. That itching can drive you nuts & for some reason, scratching @

Oh man did you say HIVES?I to get those, little bit of stress and i get them all over my chest, back, face and my head.I hate it so bad, like now I have them very bad.It makes me depressed sometimes cuz they stay so long and ppl ask,WHAT IS THAT?I have seen the doctor for them, who tells me to stay calm because there stress related.Telling me to stay calm is an absolute JOKE.Being scared to take meds,I just let them run there course.

Hives can be a side effect of certain medications-----have you recently started any new medication? As for stress hives, I did have them for 5 years off and on. It followed the adoption of our son. I got mega stressed out worrying that they birthmom would change her mind and it triggered them. Cool compresses and benydryl. If hives get very severe and m.d. can give you cortisone pills which will stop hives in a matter of hours----but the cortisone is only used if things are really out of control and the hives are very severe as a 'last ditch' measure. I had to go on it twice for 5 days each time.

Just my 2 cents:) The Brewers yeast that I use has Omega 3 fatty acids, garlic, B vitamins, zinc, biotin & amino acids. I pay $11.99 for 1,000 chewable tabs. They're for cats & dogs. I don't have to hide them in their food, so they must be pretty tasty. I still use the flea meds from the vet for the summer months, but we totally go without in the winter because these tablets work so well. About 3 years ago, I had to have the house professionally bombed because of awful fleas. My cats never go outside. It was bad & I'm never going back there, Judy): jan
