Please accept my apologies.....

My post from this morning was way out of line. Please do not respond to it, I want it to just fade away. I would rather it be deleted, but I do not know how to edit or delete it. I jumped right in and didn't even introduce myself. I was rude and I am truly sorry. I just saw myself from years ago in some of the posts and I spouted off without anyone knowing who I am.

I am at work at the moment and cannot got into details about myself, but I will do so in the morning.

I am truly sorry.

Everyone would like to make a good first impression. Our community is very accepting of others & really none of us are here to impress. That's the beauty of message boards &

As someone whose your comments were directly aimed at I will tell you that you do not know my entire situation nor do you know my history and at first glance I am seriously offended by what you said, hurt would probably be more accurate.

With that said, I also realize that we all have our own opinions and are entitled to that. For that reason alone I will not hold against you what was said. In the future please know that my email address is well known and if ANY ONE has any comments, concerns, questions ect PLEASE do not EVER hesitate to email me personally. One of the best things about this community is that we are all so different with so many different experiences and approaches to things, This makes us all stronger.

Let's start over fresh Barb : )
Nice to meet you & Welcome to the board. I look forward to getting to know you better.

Barb, I like the rest of the ladies on this board will accept your apologies. However I need to get this off my chest. I came to this board awhile back when my anxiety was so high I didn't know where to turn. These ladies took me in and helped me to realize I needed to seek help in order to live a productive life. They accepted me for who I was and helped me to get the courage to seek the help I needed. I felt safe here and then you came along and made MY place of refuge seem unsafe. This board and these ladies are a God Send. We work together and are able to share with one another. None of us are perfect but we try the best we can to overcome and live with this illness called anxiety. So instead of putting us down come to us and share your experiences in a non judgemental way, we are always looking for positive ways to deal and heal.

Hello Barb,

Welcome to our board!

I wasn't going to post but I would like to respond. In your post you stated "I just saw myself from years ago in some of the posts and I spouted off without anyone knowing who I am." Even if we knew you, tolerating rude posts is not something I would do.

What you read here on the board is a group of people dedicated to supporting each other through the ups and downs. When I post it is not to be rewarded or have someone pat me on the back. I do this to be with people who truly understand. Not everyone in my real life understands and it is so healing to know that I am not experiencing this alone. Reading what others go through helps me understand more about panic and anxiety. Also, no two people are alike, what works for one person does not work for another. What helped you recover from anxiety is your treatment plan and how you deal with it may not work for another person.

With all that said I will accept your apology and hope you are not too scared off the board. Look forward to hearing how you have recovered and how you deal with current anxiety when it knocks on your door.
