Because I was such a mess on Friday after finding out that they garnished our tax return thus screwing things up for us and making me feel like such a stupid idiot I neglected to mention how my counseling went Friday morning before all the other crap started.

She gave me a new excercise:

Hi Jennifer,
WoW you tried it and it worked? You go GF. I would like to try it,in fact I will try it

in class when I get anxious and my brain goes into overload, If you don't mind, then you

can just bill me half your Doc bill. Ok there is one less worry for the both of us.

Seriouly, I will try it. If it works I say stay with it. Hang in there Jennifer, see one

thing has begin to work out and everything else will as you know. You are strong and this

will pass, I know why not right now Right!! only the big man knows that, unforunatly.

You are in my thoughs. Let me know ok.. (((BIG HUGS)))

This is a tried & true technique, Jennifer. Allow yourself a specified period of time to worry, focus on fears or whatever is troubling you. Then, move on. That's where the Serenity Prayer comes in. If you can't change it, then let it go. Good luck in this new method for you.

jennifer,

I know that this isn't what you had in mind and I'm sure that its devasting to have your taxes taken but on the other hand you are now out of debt. It seems to be a catch 22...

Is their anything you can do to make money? This may sound weird but what about delivering newspapers or magizines to places, that way it would be early morning and you could keep your anxiety at bay. Although I have no idea what that pays... ..

You are doing very well... keep listning to your therapist. That is your best defense against anxiety, changing your thinking patterns.
