Sounds to me what you are experiencing is totally normal. Now remember I'm not expert but what you're describing is very common with a p/a. No one wants to go through that, we feel as if we're going to die physically & mentally and the aftermath is so very draining. Try and do your best to relax the rest of today. We're here if you need us.

I know how you feel. I get them also, and I always think Im having a heart attack, and that I am going to die. I forget during them that they really won't hurt me. I try to count by three's so it gives me something to concentrate on. I also try to talk to it, I tell it to come already instead of fighting it off. It doesn't always work, but I guess I like to believe it does!
They are awful, but I thought you'd like to hear that youre not alone and you WILL feel better! :) I have 3 kids also and that in itself can be trying! Kathy
I have 3 kids too, they are a good reason to focus and remember that the panic will subside. During a panic attack I think we would all rather be anywhere doing anything other than experiencing the panic. Just *try* to remember that the attack is temporary and that you are ok. I know it is difficult to concentrate on anything but the panic but keep trying.
Hope you're feeling better, Jennifer. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get a clean bill of health tomorrow & it will reassure you when the panic hits. (((hugs))) jan

I hope that by now you are doing better. I have just gotten to the board and saw your post.
I know what you mean about the head feeling. I get the same sort of feeling, I feel as though I am wearing a hat.. like my head is wobbly and heavy.
