Man I think the flu has hit us or something.Yesterday morning I couldnt stay out of the bathroom, everytime I drank or ate I would feel gas just rummbleing in my stomach, then diarrhea*.Felt like I wanted to throw up,but never did.Today I am just sooooo tired, with a headache. My 3 yr old was real restless all night lastnight, she kept crying, but would fall right back to sleep.I put her in bed with me,cause I thought she was having nightmares. She woke me up at 6 am,saying her tummy was hurt.I layed her against me and she started vomiting everywhere.I feel so bad for her;(She really wants to be active, and shes so hungry.I made chicken soup for her, half hour it all came up.Water wont stay down or anything. She has vomited 6 times today.Fever not to high, 100.diarrhea one time. She was a premie.and I worry about her so bad.Shes white like a ghost. What can I give her to replenish her body before she throws it back up?Her mouth is so crusted and dry,I know shes starting to dehydrate.I called the hospital which they said they are swammped with the flu,and to push liquids.I am a nervous wreck, the fluids wont stay down or tylenol.

The flu shot protects against the respiratory flu. What you're dealing with Jeanie is a stomach bug. There's no vaccine for that.

Have you tried gatorade, jello water, flat Coke, pedialyte, popsicles

Thank you Sheriann and Jan.This is just making me crazy.I ran to the grocery store to get jello and to pick up a few things.I left my 13 yr old in charge and she called my cell phone telling me Audrey ate cheez-its and ham...arggg...More vomit.I will call my peds doc tomorrow and see if she wants to see her.I just dont get it though, shouldnt she be wanting to just lay around?Shes running around here playing with her barbies. Then it just hits her, once she vomits shes good again.

Let us know how the baby's doing. It's such a worry when they're little. Hope you're feeling better soon, too, Jeanie. Please get some sleep. (((hugs))) jan

Glad to hear things are going better, no more vomit! Yeahhh!

When I got depressed last August I hacked off ALL of my hair. It was so long I could tuck it in my waistband. When I walked out of the salon it did not even brush my shoulders. I did not cry...it was really cute. But now I cannot stand it, it is growing out and feels so short. I may never cut my hair again...lol.

Hang in there,

Lisa

I'm glad you checked in & had good news about the baby. I am sorry the anxiety is high, Jeanie. You have been stressed out & since you just started taking the klonopin, your mind is tricking you into thinking that may be the cause. It isn't. You did feel better when you took it. Just remember to breathe & think positive thoughts to take the focus off this negative thinking. I can totally relate to the haircut. We are creatures of habit. When things change that we cannot change back, it puts us off balance. But, you will soon be right as rain. Sending lots of hugs! jan

(((Jeanie))) I'm so glad that she's feeling better! There's nothing worse than a sick child, I take that back, sick husbands are worse, lol.
