I woke up this morning feverish, sore throat, cruddy cold junk. Ok who really has time for this with midterms right??

A while back we were discussing an over the counter med for colds...can't remember what it was but someone here said it worked.

If one of you can remember and pass it on I would be so grateful. I have to take my dd to school this morn and then have to take the long drive to school.

Thank you sooooo much,

Lisa

Jan,

I plan to stop at the pharmacy to get some cough drops and kleenex. I checked out the Zicam link, I wonder how this would work. My s/s seem more in the throat. But worth a try.

Thanks a bunch,

Lisa

Those losenges are truly wonderful, very soothing for the throat.

I've never tried the Zicam. which type have you all used? Is there one type better than the other? I mean swabbing your nose doesn't thrill me, but if it works.

Sheri Ann,

I will take note of the cepacol, I need something for this scratchy throat. I was unable to get the zicam until after school and tried it out. Hope it still works its magic even if I did not use it at the first sign of cold. I am so tired after the long day.

So here I am with my q-tip swab up my nose..lol praying for results. Will let you know how it works.

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Barb,

I bought the swabs and tried them, not too bad. The box says to use one every 4 hours, so I plan to swab again at 10:00pm. Supposed to use Zicam at the first sign of a cold but I was a bit late, still hoping for some results.

Will keep you posted!

Thanks,

Lisa
