Stress level up

My daughter just called me not along ago with some not so good news. Her father, my exhusband has been diagnosed with colon cancer and they have done surgery. They removed part of his colon, his gall bladder and part of his liver. They feel fairly certain they have gotten all of the cancer and will be starting him on chemotherapy. My stress level just went up a couple notches as my ex and i are still very good friends. He's a good man and a wonderful father and grandfather. Any of you that pray i ask for an extra prayer for him. His name is Bob Knapp. Thank you.

Oh my, Keitha): That's a shame. Even if you had said that you weren't friends with your ex, noone wants to hear that diagnosis in anyone. Poor health is never in our plans. I can certainly see how your stress has increased. You know all the stress busters, so make time for yourself & use them. We will be here for you anytime you need support.

Keitha,
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's father. It is nice to hear that you are still friends with him, that's usually not the case. I have definitely added Bob, you and your daughter to my prayer list. I will be praying and thinking about you often.

Ladies thank you all for your comforting words your encouragement and all of your prayers. I spoke with my ex's wife last night and he's doing as she says "as good as can be expected". They seem to believe they got all the cancer and will be doing a mild form of chemotherapy. Hopefully he will be coming home this weekend and I'll get to talk with him then. He's a strong man and usually a positive man so I'm praying he continues to be the man I know him to be. All I ask at this time is keep up the prayers because I know prayer does work. Again thank you ladies for all you've done for me and my ex.
