how to cope?

I have had panic attacks and social anxiety for a long time now, and spent 4 years at home because i was afraid to go out for more than a few minutes. I am able to go to the grocery store and whatnot, so long as it isn't too busy, and I am usually ok in puclib as long as i can get home when i want to. If i'm within walking distance, or if my husband is driving (I can't drive because of the panic attacks), but I can't take a bus or anything.

I've been working for almost 4 months now...at first full-time, then I went to 32 hours a week, then 16, now I haven't made it there for more than a 2 hour shift in more than a week.I get sick to my stomach, uncontrollable crying, diarrhea, shaking, and i can't think.

Now i don't have the best job for me, but there isn't much else available in the town where I live. I work with approx 800 people answering phones for Time Warner New York, and when a new yorker's cable and internet aren't working, they aren't exactly the friendliest bunch of people.

Anyone else workign a stressful job, and if so, how do you do it? I know all about the breathing exercises and whatnot, and i've tried dozens of different kinds of drugs, none work and leave me alert enough to make it back home safely. Any ideas?
