Has anyone experience muscle cramps as a side effect of their Lexapro?

I have had the mobile blood clots, too:) I know it isn't funny when you have stuff like this, Sheri Ann, but I needed to joke a little. I have thought the craziest things with the anxiety.

HI Sheri Ann
I have had the blood clots too, I think I have had tumors, heart attacks, or slow heart failure and anything else that could cause an awful outcome.

I never got muscle cramps from the lexapro, but because I am crazy I have looked at every site imaginable and I have read that it can cause cramps, or muscle pain.

How else are you doing on it?/ How many mg. are you up to? I am still at the 10, and I think it helps me stay calmer, and if I do get upset Iget over it faster. I also do not have "the thoughts" as often, and rarely a panic attack.

But now I am thinking the not being able to take a deep breath, or the feeling that I have to constantly take one is a side effect to this med, Im wondering if you get that, or have heard of it, and if you think it will go away, if that is it.

Thanks,
Kathy

I purposely haven't read the side effects of the Lexapro, as I know how I can be if I am expecting something to happen - I can make it happen, the power of the mind, lol.

Hey Sheri Ann -

I haven't taken Lexapro - but I have noticed an increase in leg cramps since I started the Effexor a week ago. Also like day 3 I had a Charlie Horse in the middle of the night and my muscle hurt for almost 24 hours afterwards.

I hope it goes away for you! '
