Well, on a positive note, I got to sleep pretty easily last night. I focused a lot on the routine of things, and even added a hot bath to help me relax and just treated everything as part of the routine, one step at a time. And I think that mindset helped somehow. I fell asleep more quickly than normal and slept very well.

Also, I finally re-subscribed to the Express Yourself Plus package. I had it before, but it ran out and I wasn't using ivillage much so I didn't renew it. But now I'm wanting to use it more, and I just can't stand to use it very much if I have to just look at one post at a time. lol So now I can use the fun colors again, and I'm hoping to have a fun sig. soon. :)

On not such a fun note, I had a rough time on the ride home tonite. We only have one car and my husband uses it because he needs it to get around the city to all of his clients, and I stay in one place (i work at a school) all day so I don't need it. He takes me to and from work each day. And I don't go anywhere the rest of the time unless he's home, since he has the car, so he always drives then too. It's been this way for years, and we've noticed how this has made me VERY dependent on him, and very fearful about driving on my own.

You know, I almost didn't post my request over there, because I worried that I had missed something and was doing the wrong thing. But a very good online friend of mine who is also an ivillager was the one who recommended I go there for a new siggy, and I trust her. So I tried it, and I watched it somewhat obsessively til I got a response. My friend told me I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't! :)

I appreciate you saying that, Heather. Thx so much. I have got to get over this & over there to get a siggie. Should I just tell them to choose something appropriate

Heather,
It was great to see you in chat even if it was just for a moment. And *sigh* thats the worst part of "routine", lol, it takes awhile to make it an actual routine, just doesn't happen overnight dang it. :) Love the siggy as well. I had the extra deal for awhile too before I came here when I chatted alot at the July 2006 Expecting Board but stopped because my schedule got so crazy that I never had time to come on here anymore, then I found these wonderful gals and now I make it a priority to come and see how everybody is doing. Maybe have to get it again, lol, and somehow justify it to DH that it is NOT an uneccessary expense (we are tightening our belts for when baby comes):D
Jan, take baby steps, first just go to the siggy board and ask for one, doesnt meanya have to use it ;), they are EXTREMELY nice and supportive and they dont mind at all if they do have to explain how to do it correctly a couple times, or they are more then happy to do it for you if you find someone you trust to give them your password, lol, TRUST me on this one, this is one "personal experience" I can speak confidentily (sp?) about ;) OMG!! That word is bugging me, I have to go look up how to spell it right now, expect an "edit" if it is wrong (lol ok, now who is the insane one ;)

Well, I gave kind of an outline of what I wanted. I am used to "ordering" them though. I actually have a pretty expansive collection of siggys that were made for me by the girls over at the PSFTTC board. A lot of them I can't really use any more because people have cracked down on using grapics that are copyrighted and a lot of mine are from some of my favorite TV shows (Dead Zone and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)and I have several Harry Potter ones too. So I was used to asking for them, but it was always from people that i "knew".

I found the quote that I wanted to use and then explained what kind of colors I liked, and that was really about it. And she did the rest!

Yeah, that's a doxie on my avatar, as close to my dog as I can get. She's a doxie mix. She's actually of the black and tan variety not just tan. But oh well. :) Her name is Brownie. I have a calico cat, Lucy. :)

The signature showcase board is awesome, they live to do siggies.
