Not a whole lot happened around here this weekend. Slept in ALOT. That's my problem, I can't always get to sleep at night, but I have a lot of trouble waking up in the morning. DH blames it on the flexeril. And once the weekend rolls around, I can sleep in til 11:30 easily.

Sheri Ann,

Sorry to say I am NOT ready to go back to school tomorrow...LOL. I did enjoy having a few days with less pressure to succeed.

Tomorrow I will be back in the game and preparing for tests, assignments, and the dreaded finals!!

My visit with my Dad was today and it went very well, I had a good time. He suprised me with a gift from his trip to Hawaii, a nice necklace and two bracelets. He got the girls each a t-shirt and necklace too.

Nice time ;-)

Heather, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with therapy.

School is nutty until the end. I have class all day Tues and they tack on part of our community "conference" after that! Talk about a long day grrrr. If I'm lucky I will get home about 7pm. My clinical days are on Friday, I will be doing home hospice. The other days are spent on my management class and Complex health alterations.

No rest for the wicked or in our case the student;-)

It was a quiet weekend for me. Saturday got a bit difficult because my DH left Sunday morning to go back to the states for 10 days. I had a bit of anticipatory anxiety over his leaving, whether I would ok taking him to the airport, etc. But, I took my meds and did ok. I actually suprised myself by how well I did on Sunday after he left. The drive went well and I kept myself busy the rest of the day with cleaning, a walk, and a good movie. On Saturday, I found that a good cry about my dh leaving really made me feel better. I didn't try to control the emotion or keep it in - I let it out and a lot of the pent-up anxiety melted away. That's a new discovery for me that I need to continue trying :)After all, we're newlyweds and it's the first time we've been apart - of course I should miss him!

Not much here. DS had croup so had to take him to ER on Friday for a steriod injection due to his asthma. Saturday I recuped from 3 days of lost sleep and yesterday I just hung around as well. Today, at some point my day will consist of shoveling, First day of Spring & IT IS SNOWING HERE!!!!! We had thunder snow yesterday which I'd never seen, It was pretty cool but the lightening was a little strong for my taste. Even with my computer off it kept zapping. Of course after dh gets up he says, Why didn't you unplug it? Duh on me, lol
So really not much exciting here. I've been around. Time seems to just be flying by lately, been on the go quite a bit.

I hope that you all have been well.

Hugs
Danielle

Wow, thunder snow, this is the first year I have experienced it and it was really strange.
