I had things to do today and just didnt feel like cooking. So me and the girls ran to a&w.We get home and I am sitting here eating when my 3yr old (Audrey)says,Mom can I have a bite.I told her yea but to make sure she ate her food also. She goes, you never got me any.....Man I jumped up,gave her my whole plate. How on earth could I have been so forgetful,I live for my little ladies..gees.She wouldnt eat my food though.I told her, name the spot and we would be on our way.MCDONALDS!!! I remember a time in my life where a mistake like that would leave me house bound with panic attacks for weeks.I do feel guilty about it though, but no panic!!!!!!Gees silly me.

No shame, Jeanie. I have you beat when it comes to the Mother of the Year Award. When my Meg was little, we always stopped @ a mom & pop type store on my way home from work. She always hopped in the backseat on her own & we would take off for the 2 minute trip home. One day, as *we* were pulling into the driveway, I asked her a question & she didn't answer. I thought that was very odd to have fallen asleep that quickly. I looked in the rear view mirror & saw an empty seat. OMG! I had left her @ the store! You never saw a person turn around so fast & drive back to the store. Before I could barely get out of the drive, there was Meg trudging all by herself along the highway. She never cried, but gave me quite a scolding. For a long time, when we'd stop @ the store, she'd say, *I'll wait in the car

I could see myself doing the exact same thing.

Why didn't anyone tell us that our brain would be lost forever after pregnancy! My brain is such mush that I just got distracted from typing this message for about 10 minutes and now have forgotten what I was going to type. lol. Oh well. This is why we must raise our children well. So they can take care of us and our mushy brains! ;)
