Does anyone know if effexor XR and Xanax are usually expensive?

I have insurnace which will help some - but i'm wondering what you guys usually pay.

My generic xanax is only $6 per refill.

Great - That sounds like a decent amount. I was more worried about the effexor than the xanax.

since there isn't a generic

i didn't have insurance and i paid $30 for my 120 pills of xanax. as far as the effexor i don't know. if there is no generic it can be costly but if you have insurance it should be ok. when i did have insurance it didn't matter the type of drug, only if there was generic or not. i think i paid $10 for generic and $20 for brand name. something like that. your insurance plan should have that info.

Thanks for the information!

I'm hoping it's not too bad. Last thing I need is another large expense to add to my stress. lol

Thanks,

To the best of my knowledge, effexor doesn't come in generic. I just spoke to someone who orders it online & who pays full price. It is pricey. Obviously comparing sites is a good idea like Sheri Ann suggested. Also, your dose will make a big difference.
