SHERIANN IF I TOOK ROBITUSSIN I WOULD BE RUNNING THREW HERE LIKE MY BUTT WAS ON FIRE LOL!!!!!!!!!!All of those kinds of meds make me a nervous wreck, especially any that say decongestant*I just cant take them.My doctor has me taking Alegra without the D....HE KNOWS LOL.I took sudafed once and I felt like my hair was standing on ends and my finger was stuck in an outlet.I have since found out I cant take those meds as they also dont mix with my tenormin.
As for the meds, I can't take anything for a cough or cold because of my atenolol. That's the same as Jeanie's tenormin. I am still hacking, though alot less & not so hard. I still think you ought to see the dr. Sheri Ann. You worry me): Expired meds aren't such a good idea either): Am I gonna have to come down there?
I am glad to hear that you pushed your limits again. I envy your trip to the beach & those seashells. (I have a place you can order a big coffeetable book of shells for next to nothing.) It feels good to treat yourself to some finery. @ times, when we don't do it, I suspect we feel sort of undeserving. But after making progress like that, you more than deserved it. You earned it!
My weekend is passing quickly. Meg is feeling some improved, so my nursing duties are lighter. It snowed all morning, but I got my errands run, finished the laundry & watched The Were Rabbit on PPV. It was
Wow, what a big day for you! Not only was it a great family day but a big step for you in dealing with the anxiety. It's great hearing about progress, especially in the midst of being sick and not feeling great. And, there's nothing like a little "retail therapy" to brighten the day.
As for me, I've been doing some serious cleaning around the house this weekend. With the DH still in the States, it's been pretty quiet. I walked the dogs in the forest yesterday so they loved me for that one. Then I went out to dinner with my neighbors last night...I got really nervous about that one and thought about not going. I was even pretty nervous during the beginning part of the meal, but I started to settle down once the conversation got going and actually had a great time. Today I'll clean the closet and the bathroom and listen to the treat I bought myself this weekend - the soundtrack to "Rent" - it's got some great lines that have been sticking in my head...
That's great news, Meghan. I am glad you're making time for yourself. Kudos on attending the dinner without hubby. That is a big step for many folks with anxiety. Enjoy your music & the rest of the weekend. Keep up the good work! (((hugs))) jan

I'm afraid to take any of the allergy meds, Sudafed included!
