Hi Everyone!!
We are fine I knew there would be concern for us when I heard about
the cruise ship fire!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARING!! I did not realize
the internet was available on our ship....
I AM SO HAPPY TO REPORT NOT A ONE PANIC ATTACK!!!
YAY~
I was having a LOT of anticipatory anxiety for the first 2 days
and then as my body and mind adjusted to the rocking and routine
I was much more comfortable! I FORCED MYSELF TO STAY IN THE MOMENT!!
IT WORKED FOR THE MOST PART!
I met some wonderful people- had many, many laughs with hubby, swam
in the gorgeous Caribbean, shopped my head off, ate far too much,
gambled just enough, AND MOST OF ALL REALIZED HOW FORTUNATE WE ARE
TO LIVE WHERE WE DO IN THE USA!!!
The poverty that exists is overpowering---- the hurricane damage was
extensive in Cozumel to people who had so little at best!
The GLAMOUR of the ports did not hide the fact that these people are
really living in poverty! I am so grateful for this revelation!
I learned a great deal about the Mayan culture and people
which is fascinating to me.
When we passed through the cold front last night the pool water was
literally sloshing over the side of the pools onto the decks!!
I sat and watched and said my prayers that this would soon stop....
I can still feel the rocking!! BUT I remember what my husband said
the first night as he laid next to me IT IS LIKE BEING IN A BIG CRADLED
ROCKED TO SLEEP!! I closed my eyes and pretended and fell asleep feeling
very relaxed.... one person's perception CAN really change the way
we look at things!!!
I am VERY HAPPY TO BE HOME!!! and back here writing to you all that
I have missed this week---- Tomorrow I will post about the
HYPNOTIST that I watched perform and who I talked with for a long time!!
HUGS!!! Judy
