My anxiety seems to be getting worse, but only when I leave the house.

Oh, Sheri Ann...this must have been a difficult post to write. It can't be easy to feel like you do right now. I'm proud of you for still trying to go out and do things. I have a question for you. Is it leaving the house that's difficult or is it the social interaction that leaving the house involves? Every incident you mention involves talking to people or going to see people, so I just wondered.
It's great that you will have family in the area. It's true that they might want to push you a little bit - have you discussed these new feelings with them? Trying to look on the bright side, maybe their house will become a "safe place" for you to be out of your house but still be around people you feel comfortable with. I've moved recently too, and it definately feels like the rug has been pulled out from under you in terms of comfort level when plopped down in an unfamiliar place.
I'm sending P&PT's your way...I hope your pdoc has some words of wisdom. Remember that you've already taken the first step - you know this is something you want to change and you're willing to work for it. That itself speaks volumes to the strength you possess :)
