Hi there!
I am on week 2 of my Zoloft starter pack. The first week I took 25 mg and did fine after the initial bought of diarehea. I on about day 4 of the 50 mg and it is completely wiping me out! By 4 pm I am completely zonkered. My dr prescribed the zoloft for my mild to moderate anxiety that has seemed to get worse with age. I am 30 with 2 little ones who will not allow me to be tired at 4!!!!!
Does anyone have any experience with taking this medication at night instead of the morning? I wonder if that would alleviate the tiredness? Will this go away? I am also wondering if I am better off on the 25 mg? The Zoloft does seem to pretty much end much of my anxiety, but I am so darn tired!
I typically have insomnia so I was given Klonopin too for night.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!
Molly

Hi, Molly! It's nice to see you:) I know from personal experience that zoloft can make folks very sleepy. My mom, her gf & my gf are all taking it @ bedtime to assist them in sleeping. You ought to call your dr. & see if this is an option. Zoloft is a good med for anxiety/depression. It would be a shame to stop it for something that can easily be fixed.

Thanks Jan. I have taken it at night the past 2 nights and it has cut down on my day time sleepiness. I was very edgy around dinner time though last time. I wonder if that is because of the time change of the medication? My sarcastic husband said "Zoloft not working today" - whatever!
So I officially finished 2 weeks of the starter pack. I was feeling good about it until my increased anxiety last night. Hopefully that is just temporary. I took a Klonopin so I could fall asleep.
Thanks for the feedback!
Molly
What's with men? Can't live with 'em. Can't live without 'em. LOL
I am hopeful, Molly, that this was an isolated incident. Every woman's entitled to be a little edgy @ dinnertime or anytime for that matter:) Good luck & keep in touch.
