relaxation questions...

I'm sure these things are probably listed in the coping tips, but I'm not finding it(what's new) and I thought some of you might have some suggestions that maybe aren't listed anyway.

I'm interested in finding some cds, preferably of music, but just sounds could be okay too, to listen to to help aid in relaxation. I've also actually been contemplating trying yoga, even though I used to think that was silly. But it's been sounding like a plausible thing for me to try to help center myself, and help relax myself physically. I am like one giant tense muscle these days. I have so much muscle tension all of the time... I'm just looking for something to help. I already take a muscle relaxer every day because of my headaches. But it's not even touching all of the tension in my back/shoulders/and neck.

Anyone have any ideas for cds to listen to? I think I may go to the library and see if they have a yoga book or dvd.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't listen to any relaxation cds, but I know Jan & Judy do, and I'm sure they will respond.

Hi Heather,

I just got "AM and PM Yoga for Beginners" today. It's 2 20 minute sessions...I'm going to start tomorrow. I'll let you know how it works!

Heather, I am sure you can look over on Amazon for relaxation CD's & come up with some good ones. I like to read comments of others & that gives me a good idea of if I'll be pleased with the purchase.

Here's what iVillage has to offer on meditation. You will be surprised:)
