What a day! Hey, you are doing your best and that is all you can give. I am proud of you for giving them a chance at improving their life. It's not easy to open up your life and home and you did. Maybe they will change their mind!! At least you left the door open for that to happen.
(((Sheri Ann))) I'm so sorry my friend. I know that anger and guilt you are feeling as my daughter and her DH just did the same thing to me one year ago. I'm still trying to deal with it as like your son they did not even give it a chance, yet were moving here for alot of right reasons same as yours. I hope he gives it a chance and in return gives everyone the chance to better their lives.
What a roller coaster of emotions for you! Don't forget to remind your son about the beauties of a Southern winter...the lack of snow and the fantastic fall weather. Being from SC, I will admit that it does get darn hot and it takes some getting used to. He's probably going through some adjustment from the move as well. Maybe the weather thing is just the easiest way for him to express his doubt that he made the right choice? It would be a natural thing for him to think...I think everyone who moves thinks that at some point. Hopefully you two can talk about it you can gain some peace of mind.
((((HUGS))))
I'd feel the same way as you, Sheri Ann. A week is not long enough at all. Besides doesn't CT get sweltering hot in August/September?

Unfortunately, he loves the snow!
